LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC – The 2024 Lexington County Blowfish schedule was announced Monday, Oct. 23.
The Blowfish will open their defense of the Coastal Plain League Petitt Cup on Friday, May 24 at home against the Macon Bacon.
“We’re ready for another run at the Petitt Cup,” Blowfish General Manager Tony Baldwin said. “With our schedule for the upcoming season being released, we can begin putting everything in place to provide another summer of affordable family fun for everyone in Lexington County.”
In addition to Opening Night on May 24, the Blowfish will play 16 weekend contests over the months of May, June and July.
“With the large amount of weekend dates, we are excited about the different promotions, fireworks shows and other exciting theme nights we are able to put together this season at the ballpark,” Baldwin added.
Five fireworks nights have been scheduled in the 2024 season, headlined by the Opening Night festivities. In addition to Opening Night, the following four nights will feature a “Concert in the Sky” fireworks show:
- Saturday, June 15 vs. Catawba Valley Stars
- Wednesday, July 3 vs. Macon Bacon
- Thursday, July 4 – Blowfish vs. Glowfish
- Friday, July 26 vs. Macon Bacon
The home season finale is slated for Friday, July 26. The CPL Petitt Cup Playoffs is scheduled from Sunday, July 28 through Saturday, Aug. 3.
