Brett Kerry
RHP · Blowfish: 2020 · South Carolina · Los Angeles Angels
A Clemmons, NC native, Kerry spent his summer in Lexington in 2020 after the pandemic cut his college season short — then returned to South Carolina to become one of the most decorated pitchers in Gamecock history. A consensus All-American as a junior in 2021, he still holds the last complete-game shutout in Carolina history (10 Ks vs. Kentucky, May 2021). The Angels selected him in the 5th round of the 2021 Draft and he spent five seasons climbing through the system, becoming the Rocket City Trash Pandas' all-time leader in wins, innings, strikeouts, and starts. Called up by Los Angeles on June 15, 2026, Kerry made his MLB debut two days later on June 17 against the Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field — entering in the eighth inning of an 8-1 Angels victory. The 62nd Gamecock ever to reach the majors, and the latest proof that the pipeline from Columbia to Lexington to The Show runs strong.

TJ Shook
RHP · Blowfish: 2017, 2018 · South Carolina · Colorado Rockies
A Columbia, SC native and South Carolina Gamecock, Shook signed with the Milwaukee Brewers as an undrafted free agent in 2020 after the shortened five-round draft. His path to The Show wound through six minor league seasons, a trade to the Mets organization and ultimately a selection by Colorado in the Minor League Phase of the 2025 Rule 5 Draft. He dominated Triple-A Albuquerque in 2026 — going 2-0 with a 2.86 ERA, 7 saves and 29 strikeouts in 22 appearances, leading the PCL in saves — before getting the call he'd been chasing his whole career. On June 3, 2026 he made his MLB debut against the Los Angeles Angels, entering the eighth inning of an 8-2 Rockies win and retiring the side on just 10 pitches. His parents, woken up at 11:30 PM back home in Columbia two nights earlier when the call came, were waiting for him afterward. "I'm just super grateful for the opportunity," Shook said. "Loss for words."

Shane Drohan
LHP · Blowfish: 2018 · Florida State · Milwaukee Brewers
A 5th-round pick of the Boston Red Sox in the 2020 draft out of Florida State, Drohan's road to The Show wound through years of development, a nerve decompression surgery, and a trade to Milwaukee in February 2026. He made his MLB debut on April 8, 2026 against the Red Sox ... the very team that developed him for five seasons. The left-hander's five-pitch arsenal features a 94-95 mph fastball with riding action, a cutter, slider, curveball and changeup. His summer in Lexington in 2018 was part of the foundation that carried him all the way to the majors.

A ground-ball specialist with plus command, Thomas is a testament to persistence ... it took nearly eight years from his summer in Lexington to reach The Show.

Chas McCormick
OF · Blowfish: 2016 · Millersville · Houston Astros
The most decorated Blowfish alum in The Show, McCormick is a 2022 World Series champion with the Houston Astros. A 21st-round pick out of Division II Millersville, he proved every skeptic wrong by becoming a five-year MLB veteran. His signature moment came in Game 5 of the 2022 World Series when his leaping catch at the wall helped preserve the Astros' championship win. He set career highs across the board in 2023 including 22 home runs and 70 RBI. The "Chasmanian Devil" is the ultimate proof that the path to the majors isn't always a straight line.
