LEXINGTON, SOUTH CAROLINA – The Lexington County Blowfish baseball team unveiled its 2026 theme jerseys Wednesday during a community luncheon. The Blowfish will pay homage to South Carolina’s important role in the American Revolution and the founding of the the United States with special ‘Spirit of ’76’ jerseys for the 2026 season.

All 42 of the player-worn theme jerseys will be auctioned off throughout the season with the auction wrapping up at the home finale at 9 pm on Saturday, August 1.

Each year the Blowfish create original-themed player jerseys to honor Lexington County community organizations. The net proceeds from the jersey auction will benefit charitable organizations inside of Lexington County.

In 2026, the Blowfish are proud to honor the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution and South Carolina’s important role in the war. The special-edition jersey is a perfect blend of South Carolina history and America’s 250th. The jersey features an antique map of South Carolina across the front and the Declaration of Independence script showcased on the back. The patriotic star-spangled sleeves tie the entire look together, creating a true commemorative piece that celebrates both national heritage and South Carolina’s pivotal role in the founding of the nation.

Designed to spark awareness and appreciation for the state’s Revolutionary history, the jersey will be worn throughout the 2026 season as the Blowfish join communities across South Carolina in recognizing this historic milestone.
