Lexington County's home team is back. And it brought new turf.
– Blowfish Baseball · Season 21Twenty-one years. That's how long the Lexington County Blowfish have been your summer. Friday nights at The Lex with the kids. First dates under the fireworks. July nights that feel like they could last forever. Summer baseball is a tradition here, and in 2026, we're celebrating 21 seasons with the biggest, boldest schedule we've ever put together.
But first — the field. The Lex has brand new artificial turf. Gone are the tarps. Gone is the waiting. Gone is the mud. Rain delay? What rain delay? The 2026 season kicks off on a surface worthy of everything we've got planned on it, and trust us — we've got a lot planned.
All games this season start at 7:05 PM. Single game tickets are on sale now. Here's your guide to the summer.

The Marquee Nights
Theme nights, fireworks, drones, star wars and cowboys. This season has everything.
Friday, May 29 · Opening Night
Spirit of '76 Theme Jerseys + Postgame Fireworks
The 2026 season opens with a bang — literally. Opening Night brings the first-ever Spirit of '76 theme jerseys, a special look built to celebrate America's 250th anniversary. The night caps off with a postgame fireworks show. This is how a 21st season should begin.
Saturday, May 30 · USO Night
Blowfish Drone Show Debut + Sheriff's Softball Showdown
This one is a first. A genuine, card-carrying, never-been-done-here first. After the game, look up — because the first-ever Blowfish postgame drone show takes over the sky. Lights. Music. Drones dancing. Before the first pitch, don't miss the pregame softball contest between the Lexington County Sheriff's Department and the Richland County Sheriff's Department. Bragging rights are on the line. Badges will be involved.
Friday, June 5 · Dress Like a Farmer Night
Cowfish Jerseys Debut + Postgame Fireworks
The night the Cowfish arrive. Break out your overalls, your boots and your best farmer look — in partnership with Lexington County Farm Bureau, the Blowfish will be wearing their one-of-a-kind cow-print Cowfish jerseys for the very first time. Postgame fireworks close out the night in style. (And yes, you can bid on those jerseys — the auction is live now.)
Saturday, June 6 · Cowboys, Cowgirls & Cowfish Night
Western Night with Ariat Prizes
Night two of the Cowfish era. Dress western. Win big. Ariat — the brand cowboys and cowgirls actually wear — is providing prizes for in-game promotions. Pull on those boots. The Cowfish are riding out for one more night.
Friday, June 12 · Star Wars Night
A Long Time Ago, in a Stadium Not Far, Far Away... + Fireworks
The Force has been strong at The Lex before. It's back. Come in costume, come as you are, just come — and stay for the postgame fireworks. This is one of those nights where you bring everyone you know.
Thursday, June 19 · Hooties Night
The 2025 CPL Promotion of the Year Returns + Postgame Fireworks
One night only. The Hooties are back. Last year's Coastal Plain League Promotion of the Year is returning for an encore, with the team suiting up in special Hooties USA jerseys for a one-of-a-kind night in Lexington County. Postgame fireworks. Don't miss it. We mean that — last time, you missed it. Don't do that again.
Blowie is turning 21. The stadium has new turf. This is not a drill.
– Blowfish Baseball · July 2026Friday, July 3 · Red, White & Blue Night
Independence Fireworks + Blowie's 21st Birthday Weekend Begins
The Fourth of July weekend is the biggest stretch of the Blowfish season, and this year it doubles as a birthday party. Blowie turns 21 this summer, and the celebration begins tonight — with Independence Fireworks lighting up the sky over Lexington County. Wear red, white and blue. Bring the whole family. The party is just getting started.
Saturday, July 4 · We Love America Night
Independence Fireworks + Blowie's Birthday, Continued
Fourth of July. Baseball. Fireworks. Blowie's birthday party, night two. There is no better way to spend Independence Day in South Carolina, and we will not be taking questions. See you at The Lex.
Saturday, July 11 · Selfie Night
Take a Selfie On the Field — Yes, Really
One of the most popular theme nights from last season is back by popular demand. Selfie Night gives fans the chance to come down on the field before the game and get their shot — whether that's with the players, with the view from home plate, or just with The Lex all to yourself. Come early. Post often.
Saturday, July 18 · Prince & Princess Night
Royal Treatment + Postgame Fireworks
Crowns welcome. Costumes encouraged. Tiaras mandatory (not really, but we won't judge if you show up in full regalia). Postgame fireworks for the royal court. This one is magic for the little ones — and honestly, for everyone else too.
Saturday, August 1 · Fan Appreciation Night
The Season Finale + Postgame Fireworks
Every summer has to end somewhere. This one ends with fireworks, gratitude and everything that makes Blowfish baseball what it is. Fan Appreciation Night is our way of saying thank you — for the 21 years, for the noise in the stands, for making The Lex feel like home. We'll see you there.

Every Week, All Season
You don't need a special theme night to have a reason to come. These are here every single week.
| Mondays | $1 Hot Dog Nights One dollar. One hot dog. Unlimited happiness. Grab as many as you want — we're not counting. |
| Wednesdays | Woof, Woof Wednesday Dogs get in free with a paid hooman. Plus a pooches parade during the game. The good boys and girls of Lexington County deserve a night out too. |
| Thursdays | Thirsty Thursday Half-priced alcoholic beverages from 6–8 PM. Enough said. The first round's basically on us. |
| Fridays | Faith & Family Friday Every single Friday night, all season long — in collaboration with HIS Radio 92.1 FM. Bring the family. Bring your neighbors. This one's for the whole community. |
Twenty-one years of summer baseball at The Lex. This one's going to be the best one yet.
– Blowfish Baseball · 2026This is Lexington County's home team. It has been for 21 years. The kids who used to sit in the bleachers are now bringing their own kids. The couples who had first dates under the fireworks are now coaching Little League. That's what summer baseball does — it becomes part of the fabric of a community, a chapter in a family's story, a tradition that runs deeper than any single game.
In 2026, we've got new turf, a drone show debut, a drone show DEBUT, a sheriff's department softball brawl, Ariat prizes, Hooties USA jerseys, Blowie's 21st birthday and eight fireworks shows. All starting at 7:05 PM. All at The Lex.
Single game tickets are on sale now. Pick your night — or all of them. We'll see you this summer.
