LEXINGTON, S.C. – The Lexington Chamber and Visitors Center awarded Blowfish Co-Owners Vicki and Bill Shanahan with the Mike Till Impact Award at its annual awards luncheon Wednesday.

The Chamber presents this award to the individuals who best exemplifies the characteristics of Mike Till, former chairman of the Chamber, including friendliness, perseverance and dedication to the Lexington community.

South Carolina State Representative Paula Rawl Calhoon presented the award to the Shanahans, while accompanied by Mike Till’s daughters, Angela Klosterman and Lauren Scurry.

In addition to owning the Blowfish for the last 21 years, Vicki and Bill also prioritize other community events to promote affordable family entertainment, such as hosting the annual Shamrock Parade, Blowie’s All-Star Reading Program and co-founding the annual Lexington County Chili Cookoff. The Blowfish organization also spent the 2026 season bringing historical information to the Lexington community with the importance of South Carolina’s role in the American Revolution, including a year-long campaign that featured Spirit of ’76 theme jerseys that honored America’s 250th Anniversary.
