Lexington County, SC- Ted Falkner is the new head baseball coach for the Lexington County Blowfish of the Coastal Plain League. He was hired on August 27th for the upcoming 2026 season and shared his goals and objectives at our Monthly community luncheon November 19th inside the Stadium Club at Lexington County Baseball Stadium.
Before joining the Blowfish, Falkner’s coaching background included:
- Head Coach at USC Beaufort: From 2020 to 2025.
- Head Coach at Madonna University: Where he compiled a 103–54 record over four seasons.
- Head Coach at Viterbo University: For two seasons.
- Collegiate Summer League Experience: Including stints in the Northwoods League and Great Lakes Collegiate League
His coaching philosophy for the Lexington County Blowfish in 2026 focuses on a commitment to player development, hard play on the field and community representation.
