Bio

John Mahoney is a senior sport and entertainment major at The University of South Carolina. He is from Sumter, South Carolina, and grew up a Gamecock fan as well as a fan of the Atlanta Braves and the Carolina Panthers.

His hobbies include fishing, sports, and listening to music. John’s previous work experience was stadium operations with the Columbia Fireflies for the 2025 season. He has a passion for working in baseball and is eager to learn what the process looks like when getting ready for a new season as an intern with the Lexington County Blowfish.
