Here's How We
Give Back.

We give back to the Lexington County community in specific, intentional ways throughout the year. These are the programs we're most proud of.

Theme Jersey Auctions

Throughout the season, the Blowfish host special theme nights where our players take the field in one-of-a-kind game-worn jerseys. After each game, those jerseys are auctioned off ... and local charitable organizations receive the proceeds. It's one of the most direct ways we connect our fans to causes that matter in the Midlands. If your organization is interested in being considered for a theme jersey auction partnership, let us know in your submission.

Community Events

The Blowfish host community events throughout the year ... including our annual Lexington County Chili Cookoff ... where proceeds benefit local charities. These events bring the community together and give us an opportunity to direct real dollars to organizations doing good work in our area. We are intentional about which organizations we partner with for these events each year.

FUNdraising Program

This is one of the most powerful tools we offer ... and it's available to any qualifying organization. Through our FUNdraising program, your group sells Blowfish tickets and earns a portion of every ticket sold. Your supporters get a great night out at The Lex, and your organization raises real money. Groups of 50+ earn $5 per ticket. It's community giving that works for everyone.

We've partnered with the Blowfish now for the greater part of a decade to have a group outing one night each Summer for our families to celebrate the end of a sports season and we will continue to come back year after year for as long as they offer this wonderful opportunity!

We want to be upfront with you because we respect your time and your organization's mission.

We Are a Small Business

The Lexington County Blowfish are a locally owned and operated small business, not a large corporation with an unlimited giving budget. We are proud of what we do for this community, and we are intentional about how we do it. We receive far more donation requests than we are able to fulfill.

How We Prioritize Requests

Our preferred method of giving is to tie donations into something we already do ... a theme jersey auction, a community event or our FUNdraising program. Requests that align with these existing programs are much more likely to result in a meaningful partnership. We prioritize non-profit charitable organizations that benefit children and families in the Lexington County area.

What We Typically Donate

When we are able to fulfill a donation request, we typically provide retail merchandise, memorabilia or ticket vouchers ... not cash donations. We also limit donations to one per organization per calendar year.

Processing Time

Please allow 3 to 4 weeks for us to process your request. All requests are handled on a first come, first served basis. We genuinely appreciate your understanding, and your support of Blowfish Baseball.
