Stadium


The Lexington County Recreation and Aging Commission (LCARC) repurposed the former Wildcat Hollow football field into the new Lexington County Baseball Stadium in 2015. The stadium, which is located on Ball Park Road in Lexington and adjacent to a number of LCRAC’s other fields. The stadium seats approximately 2,300 which allows for an intimate baseball viewing experience. Features of the stadium include an expanded concrete concourse, lower bowl box seating, metal bleacher seating with a roof canopy, a stadium club that can be used for special events, administrative offices, and concessions.  The dimensions used in the design of the field were taken from some of the country’s most iconic Major League fields, including Fenway, Wrigley, Yankee and Dodger stadiums. The stadium is the home of the Lexington County Blowfish (formerly Columbia Blowfish), which is a collegiate summer league team playing in the Coastal Plain League. Fifteen teams in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia.
